Viper Channel® is designed to be used with Slat Depot® brand hand-insert slats including, the single wall Ridged Slats®, double wall Tube Slats®, and the extra wide SoliTube Slats®. The tracks slide horizontally through the bottom of the chain link fabric and hold in place the vertically inserted slats (not included). Extra track may be needed when installing fence slats in chain link with a diamond larger than two inches (measured between the two parallel sides of the wire - not from corner to corner). Fewer slats are required when installed in economy chain link with a larger diamond. However, only 10 feet of channel is included with each unit. Thus extra slats can be purchased to use with the leftover slats. Extra track in the dominant color may also be desirable when creating a pattern of alternating colors in the fence.
